The Skinny: Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro, the two greatest actors of all time…well, if you exclude Meet the Fockers and 88 Minutes…finally team up for real. (That scene in Heat where they stared at each other for 10 minutes doesn't count). They're NYPD cops hunting down a serial killer targeting bad guys in this somewhat entertaining and wildly predictable thriller.

The Good: It's great to see Pacino and DeNiro on the same team because they make it look so effortless; they wisely avoid the obvious and have Pacino play the calm one and DeNiro as the hothead; Carla Gugino is super sexy even though her performance doesn't keep pace with the legends; looks like Brian Dennehy lost some weight. Good for him!

The Bad: These two guys deserved a better script. The story is absolute crap, with half-assed twists and a laughable ending.

Advanced Years: There's an amusing nod to their age when they say there's 120 years of experience in the room. If they counted Dennehy it could have bumped it way past 190.

Line that Made us LOL: "She's got my sperm level so low I have to sit down to take a piss."

Theater, DVD, or TNT in Five Years? It's worth it on DVD just to watch Bob and Al together. Let your parents enjoy it in the theater because it's catnip for old people. (Editor's Note: The median age of the audience during our showing was probably around 72).
