"Dead or alive, you're coming with me." Loaded with pornographic violence, a host of evil villains, a perfectly crafted story (Detroit's a shithole now, why wouldn't it be in the future?) and killer fucking robots, Robocop will always be a sci-fi classic. It's already been released on DVD three times (one was part of the trilogy box set allowing you to witness how far a franchise can fall), so what's the big deal? It's been 20 years since it was made, which is enough time to give the cast and crew a chance to offer up an honest look back at Paul Verhoeven cursed masterpiece. Like most Hollywood blockbusters, almost everything went wrong while making this movie and the behind-the-scenes is almost as painful as watching the dude drenched in nuclear waste get hit by a car. Seriously, from costume malfunctions to pain-killer addictions, it's amazing Robocop ever got released. Let's hope this two-disc special edition is the definitive one or else we're strapping on our Robo-suit and taking Hollywood down for good.
