The Skinny: An 18-year-old virgin (Josh Zuckerman) who'd rather not be decides to steal a GTO owned by his douchebag brother (James Marsden) and travel across the country to visit his "online girlfriend." Along for the ride are his horndog best friend (Clark Duke) and hot platonic friend (Amanda Crew).
The Good: Not only is Sex Drive a really underrated movie (seriouslyit may not have an original idea in its head, but you'll laugh more than once), but this is a truly rare DVD in that it finally has some fun with the "unrated" tag. Not to spoil it, but they put random naked chicks (and dongs) throughout the movie, regardless of whether it makes sense or not. Plus, they leave in bloopers, gags, and extended takes without caring if they fit "cleanly" into the movie. In other words, it's a blast.
The Bad: The Blu-Ray only has, basically, one extra special feature not on the standard DVD. C'mon, you really couldn't have crammed that one feature onto both?
Best Extra: There's some funny behind-the-scenes stuff (gag reels and deleted scenes), but the option of watching the "unrated" version is really the best reason to buy this.
Buy, Rent, or Ignore: Believe it or not, there's no shame in owning this.
