We'd sooner hitchhike cross-country than step aboard this doomed bird. From the director who brought you countless rap videos on MTV and the writers who haven't brought you anything ever, we present Soul Plane, the story of a black man who gets a $20 million settlement in court and starts his own new-jack airline. And while we're as game as the next silly urban comedy enthusiast, this one never leaves the gate. Now, we know what you're thinking, and no, the movie doesn't feature Kangaroo Jack's Anthony Anderson. However, performances do include (in order of most embarrassing to just happy to be there) Tom Arnold, eight seconds of Karl Malone, and DL Hughley. A nonstop barrage of raunchy sex humor only surprises by avoiding any nudity and totally squanders an appearance by Sofía Vergara. Other fresh ideas include a potty-mouthed white boy who wants to be black, a potty-mouthed white girl who wants to date black, and a potty-mouthed Snoop Dogg who wants his street cred back. (Too late, Nokia-izzle!)
