South Park: The Complete 11th Season

Release Date:
08/12/2008
Star Rating:
★★★★★
The Skinny: How is South Park still this great after 11 seasons? We can barely get out of bed in the morning and Matt Stone and Trey Parker are still crapping out gold at will. It's almost maddening to humor geniuses like us. (We say, adjusting our oversized sunglasses and rainbow-colored Afro wig.)

Season Recap: It kicks off with the instant classic Wheel of Fortune racial episode ("People who annoy you…"), sends Butters to gay camp, details the heroic struggle of lice, features hot scissoring action between Mr. Garrison and Xerxes, gives Cartman selective Tourette's ("piss…ass…"), breaks the world's biggest poo record, takes us on a three-part journey to Imaginationland, and rocks out to Guitar Hero.

The Good: Are you kidding? Did you read our season recap a few inches above? This is one of the best seasons ever.

The Bad: SouthParkStudios.com is such a kick-ass site that they're making these DVDs more and more irrelevant.

Best Extra: Same as always, mini-commentaries on each episode by Parker and Stone. We like that they keep these light and to the point, but it'd be nice if they'd take us into the recording booth one of these times, because that must be an effing blast.
