The Skinny: This is the fledging TV effort from the guys who brought you Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzza Britcom about lovable pop cultureobsessed slackers sharing a tiny apartment. Trust us, that description doesn't begin to do it justice.
Reminded Us Of Why we hate most network TV. Nothing this cool would ever stand a chance against Are You Smarter Than a Dancing Wife Swapper?
The Good: This show is hilarious in every way. From the thousands of knowing geek references to the painful awkwardness of the character interaction, there's very little you won't like. Now, after being passed around in bootleg form for years (music rights issues held up its U.S. release), you can finally score a clean, shelf-worthy copy.
The Bad: It took this long to finally happen.
Best Extra: What other DVD can boast commentary tracks from Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith, Bill Hader, Matt Stone, and Patton Oswalt, just because they all happen to be rabid fans? Edgar Wright, Nick Frost, and Simon Pegg (the Hot Fuzz guys) also do one, of course.
