Long ago, mustaches and penis pumps were the hottest thing in personal effects, dispensing unintentional comedy for all ages. Not nearly so long ago, Ben Stiller was the hottest thing in cineplexes, dispensing no fewer than three family-friendly comedies a week for all ages. If you get giddy reminiscing about either era, you could do worse than Starsky & Hutch. Regardless of market oversaturation, the big-screen TV remake finds Stiller and Owen Wilson inducing genuine, straight-faced laughs together, and in the extras, they rub off on the rest of the cast. "Last Look" is a curse-filled, tongue-in-cheek making-of that catches the cast and crew talking shit about each other. Deleted scenes bear little more than Stiller's Starsky lecturing Wilson's Hutchinson, but a gag reel proves that flubbed lines are often better than scripted material (especially when topless blondes are involved). Then there's "Fashion fa Shizzle wit Huggy Bizzle" (their mangled MTV terminology, not ours), which sifts through Huggy Bear's pimp gear with Snoop Dogg while he's forced to talk in a parlance that's thankfully gone the way of sequined bellbottoms, quaaludes, and the Summer of Stiller.
