Streetball: The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour

Forget those pampered NBA babies and their fancy shoe contracts, chartered jets, and paid-off baby’s mamas—the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour has the Main Event (not to mention Skip to My Lou, Hot Sauce, 50, and a host of others with cooler names than yours). Now, ESPN’s Streetball introduces you to the fellas of the AND 1 tour with more than just basketball highlights. Watch ’em fend off boredom while traveling in a bus cross-country, taking on any dribbling-skills (or is that skillz?) challenger in any situation (restaurant parking lots, hotel lobbies…um, gymnasiums). The real bonus here is the addition of a complete AND 1 game at Atlanta’s Morehouse College—not only are these guys working their asses off on the court, some of them join in during the halftime show. And for all of you mixtape purists, don’t worry: the full-length game comes with plenty of highlights spliced in after any ankle-breakings, rim-rattlings, or facials (the basketball variety). You may not be able to take the street out of the player, but you certainly can take the street, put it on DVD, and watch it from your couch. We recommend the latter.
