Shocking new evidence suggests that McDonald's isn't healthy, and independent filmmaker Morgan Spurlock is willing to eat nothing but the Golden Arches' dubious cuisine for 30 days to prove it. (Lucky bastard.) Super Size Me watches Spurlock plump up, zone out, and, in the bedroom, limp off as his greasy diet takes its toll on all facets of his lifestyle. Not that you need any additional proof, but the featurettes bring more disturbing facts to the table. The deleted scenes include an interview with a couple who have a barn full of McDonald's memorabilia and a trip to Overeaters Anonymous that'll drive you to drink. The extra interviews include supermarket gurus, Big Mac gurus, and an informative—and, at times, disgusting—sit-down with the author of Fast Food Nation, Eric Schlosser. A commentary track gets a less-bloated take on all of the meals from Spurlock, but the most amazing feature is "The Smoking Fry," which tests the decomposition of McDonald's foods and finds that the fries look identical 10 weeks after they're first sealed in a jar. That's it for us—from now on, we're playing it safe and sticking to a strict diet of White Castle.
