Super Troopers is a fine film about a bunch of crazy highway cops wreaking havoc on their nervous and confused pullover victims. The DVD isnt loaded with add-ons, but what is there takes the feel of the movie and compliments the hijinks.
As far as commentary goes, the Broken Lizard Comedy Team (duh, the guys who wrote and starred in the movie) spend their time bringing attention to the finer aspects of the filmmaking note of the all-important Shitaki mushroom jokesand lamenting lost linesWhy didnt that stay in there? I dont know, I thought it did. Other bonus footage follows the cast as they tour college campuses promoting the filmgreat comedy follows when they bring their act to the students, who look equal parts scared and amused. This is definitely a DVD that honors the movie with enough extra footage to make it worthwhile.
