It's amazing how the two most unlikely rock stars still manage to rock our fucking socks off. If you're a fan of Tenacious D, then prepare yourself for a gift from Satan himself. Jack Black and Kyle Gass turn their classic cult TV shows into a movie that's loaded with profane songs and stupid gags, while it reveals the history of the D and their quest for a guitar pick that offers rock'n'roll immortality. The extras also hit some high notes with outtakes, a JB and KG commentary, and some hilarious behind-the-scenes footage. We know there's a deep divide between people who love this crap and people who'll turn it off after the first 10 minutes. We watched it twice, so you know where we stand.
