Arnie keeps his promise, showing up once again to battle a more lethal—and much shapelier—T-X in T3. Catching the newly elected state official mowing down pedestrians with a coffin’s worth of automatic weapons is gubernatorially gratifying, and the action only progresses from there. Unfortunately, the extras feel like they were pasted together by a disgruntled former SkyNet employee. Commentary by the star will have you rolling with its unintentionally hilarious rambling and a Terminator Timeline walks you through the killing machine’s formative years. But the rest of the extras are flimsy: “HBO First Look” isn’t worth a look at all, the “Visual Effects Lab” bores before you see the final product, and the gag reel consists mainly of embarrassing on-set dancing and near bone fractures for the punier cast members. Hopefully, the next time Arnie’s back, he’ll be packing extras heat.
