Indiana Jones, finder of rare objects, had become one himself. We’ve been waiting forever for three of the greatest adventure movies ever made—Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade—to be dug up, dusted off, and digitized. The wait is over, and the only action missing from this four-disc collection (three movies, plus bonus material) is a hat and whip. There’s trivia: a discussion on the “city of Tanis” theory (the idea that the Lost Ark was in Jerusalem) as a real archaeological theory. (Now experts believe it’s in Ethiopia.) But more importantly, there’s recovered footage. Lucasfilm excavated its archives to find amazing hidden treasures, including all-new cast and crew interviews. There’s even a documentary that incorporates interviews, rare outtakes, and early screen tests. (See original Indy, Tom Selleck!) You want this—trust us.
