Before he was in the business of casting his own romantic comedies just to make out with Drew Barrymore, Adam Sandler would do anything to get a laugh. Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore got the best out of the slappy SNL castoff, and now they're being released so we can remember Cajun Man the way we want to. (Mainly, chasing imaginary penguins in a golf cart.) But other than the movies, there isn't much here that celebrates Sandler's brief run as a mentally disabled comedic genius. Deleted scenes from Madison include more shots of phony porn magazines, horny penguins, and Norm MacDonald, while Gilmore's cut material focuses on Sandler losing his temper and Shooter McGaven eating more pieces of shit for breakfast. Outtakes from both flicks catch Sandler acting more like a kid than his child costars, Ben Stiller physically menacing elderly women, and Bob Barker kicking the crap out of Sandler after the cameras stop rolling. But as amusing as those fleeting moments are, for the limited extras in this collection, the price is still wrong, bitch.
