If you missed The Bourne Identity in the theater, we understand. Matt Damon is often given a bad rap because of his less talented friend Ben Affleck, but don’t hate on Damon because of this Afflecktion—they’re not even in the same sport when it comes to acting. Damon plays Jason Bourne, an assassin who’s lost his memory but can still recall how to beat the unholy junk out of people. He teams with Franka Potent (Run Lola Run) to do lots of cool spy shit and find out why everyone wants to kill him.

Parts Ronin, Three Days of the Condor, and every other great spy film ever made, director Doug Liman (Swingers) puts together a nice, light “collector’s edition” DVD here. It’s got just enough to give a good film its due without going overboard. The deleted scenes were rightly excised from the final cut, as was the alternate ending, but are fine DVD fodder.
