Unfortunately, this movie isn't about big, juicy butts. But that's where the disappointment, albeit a large one, stops. Monty Python alum Terry Gilliam never disappoints when it comes to bizarre and visually mind-blowing movies like 12 Monkeys and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. In this 1985 classic, he successfully satirized mind-numbing government bureaucracy. Criterion is always the standard, and they offer up a deluxe box set, as well as this single edition, both of which contain the 142-minute director's cut. While we often opt for the box set, this is much more manageable for casual fans who just want to enjoy the movie without requiring a film school degree.
