You know a franchise is reaching the end when Paul Walker and Tyrese won't return your calls. (POSSIBLE SPOILER! Notice how we left Vin Diesel off that list?) Standing in for the generic American is Lucas Black (Friday Night Lights), who moves to Japan to stay out of trouble, pisses off the Yakuza (Japanese mafia) and has to pay his debt by street racing. But, since Japan has so many hairpin turns he has to learn to drift. While it's easy to trash a movie like this, it's fun. Fast cars, decent racing action, a movie set in Japan that's not Lost in Translation. What more could you ask for? Besides a script and extras that don't take themselves so damn seriously? Settle down, makers of Tokyo Drift. You shouldn't be that proud.
