OK, so endless speeches weren’t what we expected from the second chapter in the Matrix trilogy, but luckily the DVD of Reloaded lets you relive the cool parts (the Agent Smith pile-on, the freeway chase), skip the lame parts (most of the first hour), and cram for the final exam in November (The Matrix: Revolutions). Plug in for a making-of featurette, an extensive look at the freeway chase sequence, and advertising clips inspired by the movie. Or just feast on pointless trivia—did you know that during production, the Reloaded script was titled The Burly Man, which is the script John Turturro is working on in the Coen brothers’ Barton Fink? Unlike the original Matrix DVD, which skimped on special features, Reloaded is stocked. This two-disc package takes extensive looks inside the movie and also ties in the Animatrix DVD and the Enter the Matrix video game. There’s no fighting it—the Matrix has you.
