Ridley “I Really Should Know Better” Scott is set to direct a movie adaptation of Monopoly. That’s right, Monopoly. Even worse, he claims he wants to give it a “futuristic sheen” like his seminal film Blade Runner.

A futuristic sheen? For a movie about a stubby, monocle-polishing aristocrat building hotels and sending people to jail?

These are truly the end times. And we all thought Clue was an anomaly.

We can only imagine the cottage industry this will spawn.
