When it was announced that Mickey Rourke would be co-starring in the Iron Man sequel, the fanboy speculation began in earnest. Who would he be? Crimson Dynamo? Mandarin? FANGOR?

Well, the truth is he appears to be a bit of a hybrid. Although the character is being called Whiplash and sports a pair of turbo-powered whips like the comic character, he's also Russian, like the Dynamo.

But enough about that. What really matters is - How cool does he look? Well, kind of cool, actually.

Sporting what looks like a ghetto version of Iron Man's chestplate, Rourke looks suitably rugged and intimidating. But why does he look so familiar? Oh, right...
