Since we know time is money, here's a quick handy reference guide to recent DVD releases that should be on your radar and, in many cases, on your shelf. Immediately.

30 Rock: Season Three
Release Date: September 22
What it is: Wait, this is a legitimately funny and well-written show that's last three seasons? Which cancel-happy suit was asleep at that wheel?
Why you need it: Unlike, say, Mad Men, this is the kind of series you actually would like to watch multiple times. There's likely a joke you missed or, barring that, at least a leering shot of Katrina Bowden to linger over.

Observe and Report
Release Date: September 22
What it is: Seth Rogen stars in this pitch-black comedy about an emotionally-damaged mall cop, directed by The Foot Fist Way's Jody Hill.
Why you need it: Because it's not the Paul Blart companion piece it was advertised as, and you can always use a good squirm. O&R will deliver the squirms.

Gojira (Blu-Ray)
Release Date: September 22
What it is: The original, 1954 black-and-white Japanese Godzilla movie. The one that started it all.
Why you need it: Because this release features about 40 minutes of footage not included in the heavily-edited "Americanized" version that was released over here. Plus, your collection needs the granddaddy of all "man in suit" movies.

The Paul Newman Tribute Collection
Release Date: September 22
What it is: A massive 13-movie box set celebrating the world's most famous pretzel and salad dressing maker.
Why you need it: All kidding aside, this is a set as classy as the man. Not only does it have essential movies like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Hustler, and The Towering Inferno. Also has a great book about Newman's life and career.
