We weren't buying this for a second. Jim Carrey skulks around as an average small-town dogcatcher (why couldn't he have just been a pet detective?) when he's given a book that turns him into a psycho by making him obsessed with the number 23. It takes way too long to get to the whole numerology crap, and when it does, we couldn't give two shits. (Wait, 2 and 2+1 = 23! Amazing! Someone write a movie about this!)
