Oh, boy! A movie in which Tim Allen gets on all fours, sticks out his tongue, and sniffs a lot of butt! No, it's not footage from Allen's two-and-a-half-year stint in prisonit's just Disney's remake of The Shaggy Dog. Designed for kids, the film stars Allen as a deputy district attorney investigating a criminal animal lab. In the course of his duties, he is zapped with a top-secret genetic mutation serum that makes him look like the familys pet. The film is utterly predictable, with only one highlightthe "great escape" scene, wherein Allen leads a group of mutant rabbits, chimps, rats, and a king cobra to freedom. At least your kids will dig it.
