When the Unbreakable DVD came out a while back, it was so well stocked with great supplemental material it made people think, Wow, I wish they had done this with The Sixth Sense. Well, now they have.
The Vista Series DVD beefs up some of the stuff included on the original Sixth Sense release, adding interviews and documentaries that, lets face it, people who are into this movie are going to be very psyched about. When the paranormal documentary Between Two Worlds opens with an interview with Exorcist scribe William Peter Blatty, you know this is the kind of disc thatll be a ghost geeks must-have. Director M. Night Shyamalan offers plenty of candid information and introductions, and the Rules & Clues featurette is a gentle fuck off to anyone who thinks they had it all figured out (it even addresses the thought-to-be gaffe that the kid doesnt have cold breath when Bruce Willis is around). We can easily ignore some of the more overblown sentiments (the composer calls the movie a religious experiencemight want to lay off the caffeine, baton boy), because this is a great treatment of a really amazing movie.
Oh, and once and for allBruce Willis character is a ghost.
