Yes, the title of this show makes us giggle. (Unit. Heehee!) But it's far from funny as it focuses on a secret Special Forces team that travels the world to get the dirty jobs done right. From terrorists to bombers to drug dealers to more terrorists, these guys are perfectly trained to eliminate any scumbag. Besides being highly engaging, the thing that sets The Unit (heehee) apart from the CSIs/NCIS's/JAGs of the world is because it's created by David Mamet and Shawn Ryan (The Shield). Plus the cast is so dead-on perfect and tough they could easily double as an elite commando squad. 24's President Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) is a powerful force as the leader, and even team rookie Scott Foley manages to earn some respect after his work on Felicity. Though it's gonna take a lot more killing to make full amends.
