Handcrafted by Hollywood for the Kleenex-toting Dawson’s Creek set, this flick is out to capture audiences that nixed Bounce because it looked too deep. The always-luminous Jennifer Lopez stars as Mary, a lovelorn wedding pro who, despite all the flowers and fancy dresses, leads a very dull, lonely life. Suddenly, fate steps in and delivers unto her Dr. Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey), her dream guy. Everything’s going great, until one night at tango class (a scene that features an unusually less-than-stellar turn by Fred Willard), Mary runs into her newest client (Bridgette Wilson-Sampras) and her fiancé—none other than her new beau, Dr. Steve! Hilarity ensues.

Pray that your lady friend will not try to drag you this sappy romantic comedy. The title alone should force you to fake appendicitis.
