They're Making a "Good Times" Movie? Dy-no-mite!

The '70s sitcom about an inner-city Chicago family is heading to the big screen, and that's pretty groovy.

Depending on your age, you either A) have never heard of Good Times, B) are vaguely familiar with character J.J. Evan's famous catchphrase, "Dy-no-mite!", or C) know the theme song by heart and totally remember that one really depressing episode where the old lady had to eat dog food because she was so poor. (How sad was that?) Well, no matter where you fall on the Good Times spectrum, you should be glad that super producer Scott Rudin is planning a feature-length reboot of the CBS sitcom that ran from 1974-79. It was funny, it had heart, and gave the world this guy. So what other '70s shows that we wasted the better part of our youth watching should Hollywood put on the big screen? Why not these three!

Three's Company

How amazing would Jennifer Lawrence be as dimwitted blonde babe Chrissy Snow?

What's Happening!!

If only to encourage a rapper to rhyme over the grooviest theme song in sitcom history.

Barney Miller

Who wouldn't want to watch a bunch of cops sitting around complaining in a police station? Uh, Never mind…
