The first time communes are funny on purpose.

The Pitch: A married couple (Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd) ditch the stress of New York City and move to a hippy commune down south.

What It Really Is: Like Role Models and I Love You, Man only for older couples. Rudd is good as always, Anniston loosens up, and the cast of familiar supporting characters (especially the beautiful Malin Akerman) keep the funny coming. It definitely loses steam in the homestretch, but we laughed out loud a few times and that’s all we require in a movie normally geared towards our girlfriends.

Does Blu-ray Make a Difference? Sure. Nothing like seeing the always funny Joe Lo Truglio’s prosthetic penis in glorious HD. The extras, which include a different cut of the movie (see below), are quite insane if you have the time.
