But TV is dead. The movie is becoming a web series.
You may not have known that before Zombieland became a hilariously gore-filled horror-comedy film, it was a TV series pitch. But maybe you were aware that after the success of the film there was a lot of talk about a sequel or network TV show. Well, today we’ve learned that, like it’s flesh-eating characters, Zombieland will in fact live on in the form of a web series. It was announced that the project has been picked up by Amazon and will center on the original group of human survivors, although there’s no word on whether any of the film’s cast is locked down to appear on your computer screen (unless you already have a cowboy hat-clad Woody Harrelson as your screensaver – we do!).
