While not as necrophiliac as, say, a reunion of the Mamas & the Papas, theres something unseemly about the Go-Gos bopping around two decades after the fact. Nothing here approaches the kitsch value of Our Lips Are Sealed, but bouncy numbers like Unforgiven and Superslide pack a guitar crunch the band didnt possess in its heyday. On God Bless, the Go-Gos prove they can still spin some sugary power poptoo bad most of this stuff has the emotional weight of cotton candy.
