If you’ve listened to Mark Lanegan’s solo records, you may think the former Screaming Trees singer has forgotten how to rock. We’re happy to report he hasn’t. His latest is an eight-song mini-album with a snarling, reverb-heavy psychedelic blues kick. What could have been a throwaway EP is instead a dark-hearted rock triumph.
