The Used’s Bert McCracken used to date Kelly Osbourne. We’re not saying that has anything to do with the hysterical screaming on the band’s second album, but you do the math. In Love and Death is impressive for the sheer consistency of its rage, but when McCracken’s not screaming, his tortured poetics sound whiny. Still, there’s no doubting his conviction. What did Kelly do to him?
