After three albums of TRL-friendly pop punk, these delinquent Canucks have grown up and gotten pissed off. Beneath a maelstrom of metal riffs that pick up where Metallica left off, Deryck Whibley’s straining voice rips angry lyrics that show they’ve finally taken an interest in the world beyond their tour bus. Don’t expect introspection, but this is some fierce thrashery you can enjoy before curfew.
