Who’d have thought we’d be taking cool cues from skinny Scottish dorks? But anyone who can convince thousands of snotty record store clerks to do a two-step in their thrift-store ’Roos deserves some respect. Album number two doesn’t change the tune, but it raises the energy level with big drumbeats and bass lines that sound like they’re looking for a Blondie song to ambush.
