Unpredictable

Let’s bottom-line this: Jamie Foxx is a decent R&B singer who does a very respectable Ray Charles impersonation. Nothing more, nothing less. The songs on Unpredictable are totally predictable in that the ones with interesting beats (thanks Timbaland, thanks Mr. Collipark) and inspired guest appearances (thanks Snoop, thanks Kanye) sound cool, and the rest of his I-want-to-get-freaky-with-you jams sound completely indistinguishable from the crush of product churned out by Omarion/Ray J/Bobby Valentino/etc. In the end, Foxx is a lot more interesting spicing up other people's tunes than he is carrying his own.
