Kid Rock is known for speaking his mind. He's a northern redneck who embraced southern hickdom to great effect, pioneering an undeniably catchy brand of Skynyrd-style pseudo hip-hop. Basically he does what he wants, and doesn't care what you think.

In an interview with Britain's Mail On Sunday, the real life Bob Ritchie went down a list of 'things' he likes, a list that included the American flag (he's a patriotic guy), golf (it's relaxing), Rolex watches (catnip to the newly rich dating back to Eddie Van Halen) and Vans trainers (classic footwear).

Rock also discusses his dislikes. One item is working out; he can't stand the gym. He'll happily play basketball, but using gym equipment? For the birds. Also, he never wears makeup. Why do it, he asks? It simply covers up your true self. Point, Rock.

Oh and he wants to 'go to war' with PETA.

That's right, Kid Rock is starting sh*t with noted animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals. Rock is a known hunter and enthusiastic fur-wearer.
