Believe

Disturbed hate themselves, so forgive them for not trying to please you. Their second album is a repetitive hard-rock assault, mixing Iron Maiden–esque metal grandiosity with the Staind school of vocal trauma. While the band pounds out some competent metal, there’s little else on display. Such an imposing wall of sound still can’t keep Believe from fading into the background.
