Death by Sexy

Begun as a proudly goofy Queens of the Stone Age side project, Eagles of Death Metal could easily have become a novelty act. But their second album refuses to play their primal hard rock boogies for laughs. Granted, between tunes about chasing 19-year-old girls and others about chasing the devil (could they be one in the same?), wry smiles are unavoidable—but then, so are shaking asses.
