Everything, Everything

A live album by an electronic act seems to promise all the thrill of listening to a magic act on the radio, but techno veterans Underworld pull it off. Actual musical instruments help, even if the primary goal of Everything, Everything is to pump the party with a frenetic beats-per-minute pace that would give Tae-Bo guru Billy Blanks a massive coronary. Captured live at festivals and clubs, propulsive cuts such as “Cups” and “Pearls Girl” grow even more anthemic here. The only thing missing is a techno version of “Free Bird” for the encore.
