Metal is back like a motherfucker. Following in the footsteps of Queens of the Stone Age and Wolfmother, this Canadian quartet kicks out raucous boogie-metal stomps with plenty of attitude. Fortunately, that attitude is informed by the blue-collar spirit of '70s icons like AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, and yes, Judas Priest, rather than by the lipsticked and hair-sprayed cheesepuffs who bastardized the genre in the '80s. Bust out the devil horns if you must, but these guys are no joke.
