After their 1998 platinum-selling Stunt, with its hit One Week blaring out of radios every 1.3 seconds, it should be impossible for these Canadian popsters to have a successful followup. But on their sixth album, BNL have done a damn fine job. With more time given to the rock-song-with-a-dance-beat style that made One Week catchier than Ebola, even ready-for-radio tunes like Falling for the First Time hold their own on repeat play. They may not be a gel-haired boy band or a pissed-off rap-metal outfit, but with lyrics like I could hide out under there/I just made you say underwear, its obvious these guys are having fun just making music.
