Have you ever, when standing in line at the bank, or waiting for your laundry to dry, or just doin' nothin', wondered if it would be possible to enrich your life with an advice-filled tome, a book filled with as many questions as answers? A book that is spiral bound?
A book written, and we use that word loosely, by Kanye West?
If so, then today is your lucky day. "Proud non-reader" Kanye has written, with the help of J. Sakiya Sandifer, Thank You And You're Welcome, a collection of Kanye-isms (his word) meant to offset the myriad misquotes Kanye faces each day while also lifting your lame life page by enlightening, sometimes empty (it means something, you see) page.
The book is much more (or is it less?) than a regular book. Regular books are dumb. This one is philosophical. It's about something, man. Some of the pages are purposely left blank. Others contain only a few words. And sprinkled throughout are those Kanye-isms. Kanye, care to lay some of your nuggets on us?
"My favorite one is 'Get used to being used,'.
"I feel like to misuse, overuse or abuse someone is negative. To use is necessary and if you can't be used, then you are useless."
Whoa—that's heavy! The book, clearly close to Kanye's heart, is dedicated to his mother, who passed away in 2007:
"My mom taught me to believe in my flyness and conquer my shyness," he said, defining "flyness" as confidence.
Since Kanye doesn't seem to recommend reading books, perhaps any book tours should be book-less? That way, no one has to waste time with the actual book—any face time with Kanye could be spent soaking in his flyness. And we feel this bears repeating: the book is spiral-bound. Thank You And You're Welcome by Kanye West: is it an exercise in existentialism? Pseudo-existentialism? Kanye-existentialism? The answers are maybe, probably, and definitely. Order now!

Kanye is an idiot. He has a sprinkle of intelligence, but he and his fans think he's "worth" something. Anyone who has the power to reach the masses and can only muster polemics like "George Bush hates black people" - what a waste. He is used himself, but fails to see it. He thinks that he stands for something but doesn't have the chops, he has the conviction but not the content/substance. It's all for image, which only leads to compounding the ignorance he purports to fight against.

At least he loves fish sticks, and he's willing to cap anyone who says different. Take THAT, Carlos Mencia!
