We’re heading down to New Orleans for some Halloween mayhem.
At Maxim, we love partying. We also love New Orleans. We’re especially fond of partying in New Orleans. That’s why we’re going to be doing it again next weekend, at the Voodoo Music and Art Experience. Taking place at City Park in NOLA, it features a kick-ass line up of bands and DJs, including Pearl Jam, Kid Rock, Nine Inch Nails, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Cure, Afrojack, and many, many more. We’re going to be stuffing our faces with all the super-healthy local food (frying everything in butter and then covering it in roasted pork fat is healthy, right?), checking out all the interactive art installations, and probably getting ourselves some very misguided ink after deciding that 3AM is the best time to make important decisions regarding the pros and cons of facial tattoos.
The festival runs from Friday, November 1 to Sunday, November 3 – you can either buy day passes or full weekend tickets on Voodoo’s website. If there’s a better way to belatedly celebrate Halloween, we don’t even want to know about it (unless it involves naked mud wrestling. Obviously).
