Portland’s food scene is looking hotter than ever with the arrival of the one-of-a-kind Radar, a soccer and American tapas bar. Beers start at $2 and the amazing food is $10 or less. As an educational bonus, you can watch the chef in action and learn a thing or two.
We went for the Champions League semi-final, drank hard cider, and ate beef cheeks. Head there for British Premiership games, Bloody Marys, and brunch on weekends. Just don’t chat up the pretty owner – her husband’s the chef with the big knife. You have been warned.
