In Cannonball Run, Burt Reynolds gave the police chase a certain panache: the porn star mustache, the 400 cubic inches of Trans Am iron. Outrunning the law is a piece of cake when the sheriff is driving a wheezy Pontiac LeMans. How would Burt have fared fleeing from a 2015 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4?

The famed Sant’Agata automaker has donated a bespoke Polizia edition of its new 5.2-liter V10 supercar to Italian authorities. This siren-clad Huracán is kitted out with all variety of law enforcement tech, from real-time video logging to an automatic license plate recognition system. As far as we know, it’s the only Lamborghini that’ll do 202 mph and has a refrigerated trunk for transporting vital organs.

Fast, radical, and downright cool: here’s a rundown of our all-time favorite squad cars.
