3 Maxim Favorites Debuting at the NYIAS

The 114th New York International Auto Show arrives at the Javits Center April 18th through the 27th—here are three future cars we'd gladly throw away money for. Check them out for yourself at the largest auto show in North America.

2015 Porsche Cayman

Take the 911 and compress it into the fundamental sports car it once was, and you have the new Cayman GTS. Taking mid-engine sex appeal to the next level, the GTS (Gran Turismo Sport) comes with 340 horsepower, Porsche’s racetrack oriented Chrono package standard, and the hankering to beat up on older, wrinkled 911 owners. And hey, it also comes standard with an amazing 6-speed manual; that’s if you still know how to drive one of those.

: 3.4L flat-six
Horsepower: 340
Torque: 280 lb.-ft
0-60: 3.6 seconds
Top Speed: 177 mph

2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4Matic Coupe

If there was ever a car that you could stage a front as a mafioso hitman, the Mercedes S63 AMG 4Matic Coupe is it. This thing screams “coddle my rotting corpse in the leather-trimmed sport seats” while doing (an electronically limited) 186 mph. Horsepower and torque are massive and standard AMG fare at 577 and 664, respectively. And though the days of sneezing on the accelerator and lighting up the rear tires are gone, with Mercedes 4Matic, this 4,400-pound rocket will do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds—though if you ask us, they’re being conservatively German.

Price: TBA
Engine: 5.5L twin-turbo V8
Horsepower: 577
Torque: 664 lb.-ft
0-60: 3.9 seconds
Top Speed: 186* mph (*electronically limited)

2015 BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe

Remember those BMW videos back in the day where Clive Owen was hooning, shredding tires and ultimately escorting the bitchy Madonna to a premier? If you don’t check the link, but if you do, there’s a good chance Clive would come back and escort Miley Cyrus to the next ‘Wrecking Ball’ video shoot in this 540 horsepower Alpina spec’d 6 Series. Finessed to the nines, Alpina handcrafts select powertrain and interior components bespoke to this B6 and will even deliver it to the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina if you want to grow a set and explore the limits of this finely tuned tourer. We drove the predecessor to the B6, the M6 (what seems like too long ago), check it out here.

Price: $118,225
Engine: 4.4L twin-turbo V8
Horsepower: 540
Torque: 540 lb.-ft
0-60: 3.7 seconds
Top Speed: 198 mph
