With a minute, 26 seconds remaining in Super Bowl XXIII, the Cincinnati Bengals had their first world championship won. And if only they’d had the contributions of, say, running back Stanley Wilson, maybe they could have said that a minute and a half later.
But Stanley never made it to the game. And now we’re making the story of how he became the 49’ers Most Valuable Player available for the first time.
