Hey Ryan, Nice blog! you had me laughing, for some reason little kids love to head butt.. Good to hear you had a good time at the game, i watched it on tv flipping between that game and the Montreal and Philly game.. Man it's a good time time to be a hockey fan.. But theres one thing missing, the Sabres.. Philly and Montreal should be happy though that they didn't have to meet us in the playoffs, cause we would def smoke them!

Hey Ryan, thanks for sharing your experiences with us through this blog. Its been really great reading. I do have one question for you. This past season, if you and Thiebault were to both get injured or thrown out of the game, who would be the emergency goalie for the team?

Sounds like you had fun. I was watching the game last night and I thought of you when Liles scored because you mentioned that you were good friends with him, I was wondering if you were at the game. I also hope that you are busier around this time for the next 10 years...as long as you're in a Sabres uniform of course. :) Have you been taking a lot of pictures during your offseason? I think it's cool that you're into photography, I am going to school for photography in the fall.

I love kids at hockey games. They don't see the mistakes, they only see when their favorite player does something great. I went to a Sabres game a while back that was a pretty painful loss and everyone was all gloom and doom on the way out except for one kid who was freaking out because he was so excited to see Jason Pominville score on a breakaway, you couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm.

Ryan, any chance of JM Liles becoming a Sabre? He's one of our missing pieces. It's time for your girlfriend to move to Buffalo since your going to be here for a long, long time. We'll ground all planes if you try to leave.

Hi, Ryan! Thanks for doing this blog. I've always enjoyed and appreciated how open you are with us about your thought process and it's great to get a dose of that in this (too early) off-season. I have a few questions. Please feel free to answer any or all! 1. Is there any special reason that you wear number 30? 2. How do you feel about d-men going down to block shots? Some goalies seem to find it distracting or feel it creates deflections that are hard to read. I was just wondering what your thoughts are. 3. My favorite Sabre is Henrik Tallinder (no offense :P) but I don't see very many interviews with him. Is there anything interesting or funny you can tell me about him that I might not know? 4. Do you ever want to throttle Bucky Gleason? (I don't really expect you to answer that one but for the record, I do.) Thanks again!

Hey Ryan! Great blog. It's really nice to read your thoughts on the playoffs. Speaking of the playoffs, I would be interested to know what is your all-time favorite moment in the post-season (one that you were part of)? And, aside from Buffalo, in which opposing city would you like to play a Stanley Cup Finals Game 7? Thanks, Ryan. I hope to see you back in the playoffs next year.

Now that you have had a little bit of time off can you look back on the season and evaluate what you think needs to happen to make next season a success? Perhaps adding some veteran experience into the mix?

What position do you think you would be best at if you weren't a goalie?

Hey Ryan, Thanks for writing this blog, with hockey sometimes you feel out of touch with some of the players and with things like this it's cool to try and connect with you guys on a human level. I've been a Sabres fan for almost 15 years now and I've seen your play since Rochester and I think I've noticed that throughout your career and most often this season that you are getting more vocal and intense during the games. Chirping at the officials(which I love, who likes Ref's anyway, your not afraid to guard the front of your crease as opposing teams players skate by with a "friendly" tap on the back of the leg,ETC. Have you noticed this change in your behavior, is it not a change and is me just noticing it for the first time? This went long, sorry about that, thanks again for doing this.

Ryan, knowing that you're a big photography enthusiast (as am I, I own my own photography business) I was wondering what camera equipment and lenses you like to shoot with? And do you use Canon or Nikon? I thought I saw some photos where you were carrying a Canon5D but I could be mistaken. What are some of your favorite places to shoot when you're in Buffalo, and elsewhere?

Ryan, as a goalie myself I have to ask how big into gear are you. Most goalies I know are completely obsessed and I am one of the many. I know you have a fully custom pad that you wear in games, not a stock X-Pluse. I wanted to know if developing a pad like that is because you are very involved with gear that other tenders wear.

Hi Ryan, great blog. It was a good idea plugging it on NHL Live, otherwise I wouldnn't have read it. I'm not sure if you've been following the Pens-Rangers series but how do you think a team should react after going down 3-0? The Rags tried playing and offensive game then defensive game against the Pens and we beat them both times. They out-shot us in game 3 and we still won. What's the reaction to this in the locker room?

Hey Ryan, what's going on? I just wanted to ask what you think of the Flyers' success against Montreal. Are you happy for Briere, and Marty? Also, what do you think of Cary Price's play? One more thing, after the Winter Classic, you autographed my RBK blocker for me, and I really appreciate it. I like to think a little bit of your skill rubbed off on it to help me play better haha. Thanks.

Awesome to be able to cheer for a friend even in possibly unfriendly territoy. Although, as a Detroit fan, the Joe is one place I must go before I die.
