Philadelphia, now infamous for its boo-bashing of now ex-VP candidate Sarah Palin and Santa Claus, seemed to have given Joe Biden the Brotherly Love treatment last night during the Eagles-Giants game on NBC. CNN, stalwart of everything politics, sports, and polisports, threw up this nice little piece about the incident. But, anyone who saw the game knows that's not the case.
New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning was chased out of the pocket and nearly sacked when he threw the ball down toward one of his lineman's feet. The crowd was booing the refs for not calling an intentional grounding penalty, not the VP-elect showing up on the big screen. Of course, many NBC viewers wouldn't have known better because John Madden and Al Michaels were busy play-by-playing Biden's nacho dipping rather than actually telling viewers what was going on on the field. Of course, leave it to the Internet to tell the news what's up. Read the CNN comments here. Read the AP story here.
