Those who tuned in to the UFC's Fight For the Troops event last night may not have noticed anything out of the ordinary—it was a great MMA show. But if you check the UFC's Web site for video of the undercard matches, you'll be confronted with the Corey Hill vs. Dale Hartt match. Hill manually installed 100 percent more knees in his right leg courtesy of his opponent's check in the second round. His tibia snapped completely, after which he stepped backwards on the broken stump before collapsing and prompting everyone, Joe Rogen included, to plead for an end to the match.
How sick was it? Our managing editor's tried and true method of eliminating grotesque images—looking at thousands of puppy images—didn't work. When asked for her reaction, she replied, "I'd rather not relive it." But we know you do.
Check out UFC.com's homepage for the video and make sure to donate to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. If you think this is bad, read about what some soldiers returning from Iraq endure...
